Natural gas tariffs of last resort down Wednesday a 3% average

The decrease is due to lower raw material. It adds to those made in April (2.51%) and in January (3.11%). Access fees have not changed since January, but has dropped the price of gas; in Spain there are 7.5 million consumers of natural gas.

The new tariffs of last resort (TUR) of natural gas will enter into force on Wednesday with an average decline of 3% by lower raw material reported by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism . This decrease is in addition to those made in April , to 2.51% on average, and in January, 3.11%, so from the beginning of year, the price of natural gas last resort accumulate a decrease of 8.62%. The tolls Access, used to calculate the rate, have not changed since January , but has dropped the price of gas, which is obtained according to international prices, the evolution of Brent crude procurement and auction held on 16 June. The new drop rate for a home with hot water but no heating gas (TUR type 1) is 2.4%, while in households with hot water and heating gas (TUR type 2) will be 3.1% . Of the 7.5 million consumers of natural gas, 5.6 million are supplied at free prices and 1.9 million regulated price of TUR.
